DREAM TO BE AN ENTREPRENEUR

When I was a child, my family is not as wealthy as others. Both my parents are labor workers for two different companies. While our neighborhood all have office jobs, my dad and mom decided to quit their job and start their own business. I am also the oldest daughter and grew up with my family’s business. We had to face lots of difficulties for the first time. My family changed the place for living five times, and we including my parents, two little sisters and I lived in a 12-meter container for three years. Our story may be similar to other successful businessmen all around the world if my parents are able to change their mindset to be real entrepreneurship. Although our family living condition recently has more developed, my parents could not enjoy a happier life for two main reasons:

• My father is a patriarchal person: He thought that he is a breadwinner so that all decisions in the family depend on him. He does violence on my mother and me a lot after being overdrunk. Sometimes, he scolds at us without any reason. As I remember, in the past, he even wished that I was a boy, not a girl. In his belief, daughters are useless! I had to witness family violence for more than ten years in childhood.

• They are always scared of being copied: They, therefore, do all jobs from small such as housework, baby care and so on to big ones: business management, selling eggs,... without any staff.

I acknowledge that my parents are not business owners though they have their own business. They are doing the jobs of labor workers. Thus, they could not spend time understanding each other or even their kids. I do not care how many my ages are. I would like to start and share my dream, my love for everyone who passionate to be a future start-up. Moreover, I am also finding a mentor who believes in me and helps my dream come true.
