After finishing the 4-months of fundamental piano course, I quit! since I feel my love for piano has gone away. It becomes too hard and takes too long time for me to play my favorite piece, maybe it can be longer than one year. The truth is learning something new is hard and takes times but in some fields, I am not a kind of patient person. I chose the different ways for my own. Below are my three steps to quickly achieve the goal.

1. Know the basic music knowledge

As I mentioned above, before learning and playing my own way. I spent four months going to piano class to learn the theory first. Like other beginners, I was required to play some classical music to be familiar with some special signals in the music sheet. Of course, thanks to that course, I seem to understand more about piano and something in a music sheet. However, I do not have too much time to continue that course anymore. The piano class's boss needs the money and his teachers need a salary. Thus, it is impossible for me to play my favorite piece quickly if I continue studying there.

2. I practice to sing on my own beat, record that period and post it on facebook

The recording is the fastest way to find out my weaknesses and mistakes. I did it for my speaking video and now for playing the piano. It is fun but hard! I chose for myself a favorite singer online and imitate her style. Finally, I learned by heart that song by repeating the lyrics more than ten times and try to perform it as naturally as I can on my official video. That habit could be seen as an activity in my free time.

3. I mimic the online lesson for the no lyrics pieces.

I desire to play my favorite piece from the first day I learned piano. And now is the perfect time for me to make that dream come true. I just learned the notes only without the music sheet. This way save more time than I thought. Instead of a year for playing the whole song, there is only one month now. I am recently ready to record it and post a new video on facebook.

If I have to write down all this period, the post may be too long for reading. Hence, I try out to narrow down it as the shortest way I can. I do not intend to become an expert or skillful players in any instruments playing so that I always ask myself whether there are any quicker and easier methods for it. I certainly failed so many times and sometimes I seem to quit it. Moreover, there are some negative comments on facebook makes me stressful and nervous.
